We had a hot, muggy, pretty easy day. We took Jenna for her physical exam, which was about 15 minutes longer to get there than the check up. She has gained about 3 pounds from her last weight check. We spent time around the WS today, checking out the gardens, which have many beautiful flowers, trees, and shrubs. So many ideas for home. Not sure how we will do now with a 4 year old. Life is much different in the getting ready each day, hard to get something done, as she wakes up (6:15 am) happy as a lark and moving!!!! She is an investigator and beginning to do some teasing. Last night when she was ready for bed, she started to turn out all the lights and telling us in her way she was ready for bed! She is pretty cute playing with Teddy Bear and talking herself to sleep. She went swimming yesterday for the 1st time. Did not want her face wet, but overall got more in to it. We hope to take her back. Predicted to be in the 90s here for several more days, so will probably be spending more time at the pool.
Had dinner with Maylie's family and new friends from Ohio last night. Wonderful to meet so many other adoptive families and children. We did the red couch pictures, so enjoy.
